Marketing & Advertising Design

For a nonprofit organization, marketing and advertising can be done by inviting others to attend and participate in events. This way, they can learn about the organization's mission and values and become interested in joining, either by getting involved or providing financial support.

Each project shown below illustrates how Christie successfully invited and encouraged greater participation within the organization.

Fundraising Invitation

This postcard design was intended to serve as an invitation to a support-raising event. Overall, the design aimed to arouse interest in the organization and encourage people to get involved.

Postcard Advertisement

Similarly, this postcard-sized flyer informs individuals on how to get involved with a ministry, outlining the time commitment, tasks, and experiences available. Its purpose is to capture attention and encourage further interest.

Short-term Opportunities Booklet

This booklet is a guide to the advertisement on the postcard above, detailing short-term trips ranging from 3 weeks to a year in various Southeast Asian locations. Below each section, you will find details about the trip, including the dates it will take place and the approximate cost.

The aim is to highlight each opportunity and build excitement for what participants can expect during their journey.

Anniversary Announcement

In honor of the organization's 70th anniversary, there was a lot of work to do to inform, promote, and attract new members.

A special emblem was designed by Christie to mark this milestone year. This emblem ultimately combined the organization's icon with the number 70 to make a bold statement.

These were the posts, one with a key classic image and another with a combination of the current and classic image, but both with the new emblem.

Lastly, “Save the Date” was needed to go in emails, and on a postcard to give out and remind people of the event that was to come.

All these items were used to mark a significant occasion for the organization. They were hoping to receive recognition from others for reaching this milestone and to ask for support to continue the organization's work.
